Cala Torta

A wild bay in the municipality of Artà, sheltered by hills, with sand and rocks and a seasonal bar. The last stretch is on foot and the seabed deepens quickly, so this is more of a beach for adults.

Questions and answers

Where can I park at Cala Torta?

There are few spaces and the last stretch is on foot. Arrive in the morning, before the car park fills up.

Can I get to Cala Torta by TIB bus?

No line has been confirmed. You can walk in along the trail from Cala Mesquida; check the bus timetable to Cala Rajada at tib.org.

Is Cala Torta good for children?

Not really: the seabed drops away quickly, and strong currents can appear when there are waves (de.wikipedia). Cala Agulla is a better choice for children.
