Questions and answers
Where do I park for Caló des Moro and what time should I arrive?
Leave the car in the free car park by the road about 100 m before Cala Llombards and walk (about 25 min). Arrive before 9:00, because in season the car parks are often full.
Can I get to Caló des Moro by TIB bus?
We could not confirm a bus line. The walk from stops around Santanyí is long; check the timetable at tib.org.
Is Caló des Moro good for children?
The sources do not give the depth, the walk is about 25 min in the sun, and the seabed is at times overgrown with seagrass. With small children the nearby Cala Llombards is a better choice.
Is Caló des Moro crowded in summer?
Yes, very. According to Ara Balears, more than 4,000 people a day visited the bay in June 2024, and de.wikipedia describes queues.
Are there toilets, a bar or a lifeguard at Caló des Moro?
No. There are no sanitary facilities, no rubbish collection and no lifeguard; take water, shade and your rubbish with you.
