Questions and answers

What day is the Manacor market and where is it?

On Mondays, about 8:00-13:00, in the pedestrian zone of the centre; the Ajuntament moved the market there from other squares, and the exact layout of the stalls has changed over time. On Sundays there is also a market in Porto Cristo.

Where can I park in Manacor on a Monday?

There are few spaces near the centre and a guidebook advises arriving before 10:00. Since 2022 the market has taken over the pedestrian part of the centre, as far as Plaça del Rector Rubí. We could not confirm specific car parks or the hours when streets are closed.

How do I get from Palma to Manacor without a car?

By SFM train T3 from the Intermodal station (about 68-74 min according to the timetable, with about 43 services in both directions on a weekday) or by TIB bus 501 (about 70-93 min). The station is about 600 m from the centre.

When is the quietest time to visit Manacor?

Editorial assessment, not measured: Tuesday to Thursday and out of season; on Monday morning the centre is taken up by the market.
