Questions and answers

What day is the Sineu market and what time does it close?

On Wednesdays, about 8:00-13:00 (other guidebooks give 8:00-13:30 or 9:00-14:00). The Ajuntament de Sineu runs the Wednesday Mercat de Sineu under a common brand for the stalls.

Where can I park in Sineu on a Wednesday?

One guidebook advises leaving the car free of charge at Sineu station (about 5 min on foot to the market square) and arriving early. The information about the small municipal car park dates from 2013, so it is old; we could not confirm its capacity today.

How do I get from Palma to Sineu without a car?

By SFM train T3 from the Intermodal station to Sineu station, about 50-53 min, with about 43 services in both directions on a weekday (about 34 on Sunday). From the station it is a few minutes' walk to the market square.

When is the quietest time to visit Sineu?

Editorial assessment, not measured: outside Wednesday the town is quiet; on Wednesdays arrive as early as possible or leave before midday.
