Questions and answers
How much is admission to the Alfàbia Gardens and what time does it close?
According to the official website admission costs €10 (residents of Mallorca €5, children under 12 free). The garden is open daily 9:30-18:30 from 14 February to 31 October, with last entry at 17:30. Outside this period it is closed.
How do I get to the Alfàbia Gardens and where do I park?
The gardens lie on the Palma - Sóller road at km 17, just before the tunnel, and have a large car park on the right-hand side of the road. From Palma it is about 20 minutes by car. Without a car: TIB buses to Bunyola (205, 303) or the Tren de Sóller; check the distance from the station to the entrance before you go.
How long should I allow for the Alfàbia Gardens?
Turismepetit gives about 90 minutes for a visit, with the pergola with 24 fountains, the library of over 2,000 volumes and the garden. The fountains spurt jets every 15 minutes, so it is worth timing your visit around that.
When are the Alfàbia Gardens least crowded?
Editorial assessment, not measured: just after opening at 9:30 and in the late afternoon. The season runs only from 14 February to 31 October, so the most people come in high summer.
