Questions and answers

What day is the Sóller market and what time does it close?

On Saturdays, about 8:00-13:30 (hours from the mallorca.com calendar). There is also a market in Port de Sóller on Thursdays. Three market listings agree on Saturday.

Where can I park in Sóller?

The simplest option is the free car park on Camí de sa Figuera (about 10 min on foot to the centre, gravel, few spaces, so go early). The town has paid blue zones, and access to the old town is restricted. We could not confirm current tariffs.

How do I get from Palma to Sóller without a car?

By TIB bus 204 from the Intermodal station, about 28-40 min, with about 66 services in both directions on a weekday (winter). The slower line 203 goes via Valldemossa and Deià. There is also the vintage Ferrocarril de Sóller train (outside the TIB fare system).

When is the quietest time to visit Sóller?

Editorial assessment, not measured: Tuesday to Thursday, in the morning before 10:00 or after 16:00, and out of season; Saturday (market) is the most crowded.
