Questions and answers

What day is the Deià market?

On Wednesdays, about 9:00-13:00. The information comes from the mallorca.com calendar and the Majorca Daily Bulletin listing from 2023; the third listing (+Mallorca) does not mention Deià.

Where can I park in Deià?

There is a small public car park on Carrer Arxiduc Lluís Salvador (about 10 spaces) and a municipal car park on Carrer Teix, each about 5 min on foot from the centre. In season they fill up quickly, so arrive early. The car park above Cala Deià is even smaller and paid from 1 April to 31 October.

How do I get from Palma to Deià without a car?

By TIB bus 203 from the Intermodal station; the journey takes from about 38 to 61 min depending on the service, with about 30 services in both directions on a weekday (winter). In winter the gaps can be long, so check the timetable at tib.org.

When is the quietest time to visit Deià?

Editorial assessment, not measured: early in the morning, on weekdays and out of season (November-March). There are most cars in the middle of the day in summer.
